Mexico reviews duties on China, Taiwan coated steel
The Mexican Ministry of Economy (SE) has initiated a review to potentially extend a countervailing duty on imports of coated flat-rolled steel products from China and Taiwan, Kallanish notes.
Authorities announced in the country’s Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) on 3 June that Mexico-based Tenaris and Tenigal petitioned that the removal of duties would negatively impact domestic production.
