Mexico leads LatAm August steel exports to US
Latin America saw its exports of steel products to the US fall year-on-year in August, mainly as a result of reduced Brazilian- and Argentinian-origin shipments, according to preliminary data issued by the US Census Bureau and monitored by Kallanish.
Latin America in this context includes South and Central American countries together with Mexico. Mexico comprised 94.5% of LatAm’s exports to the US in August.
