Mexico implements duties on steel wire from China, Spain and Portugal
Mexico will apply anti-dumping duties of $0.13/Kg, $0.40/Kg and $1.02/Kg on reinforcement steel wire originating in Spain, Portugal and China respectively, Kallanish learns from the Mexican economy ministry. The decision follows a complaint, submitted by Deacero and Aceros Camesa in September 2014, in which the two steel producers requested the initiation of an investigation into unfair trade practices.
