Mexico celebrates 232 tariff removal
The cancellation of US Section 232 tariffs on steel imports from Mexico and Canada has been largely applauded by Mexican authorities and steel industry representatives, Kallanish notes. The new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement also provides for an end to all Mexican retaliatory tariffs effective 20 May and all legal challenges at the World Trade Organization level.
