Mexican iron ore output rises in January
Mexican iron ore production recorded its second-highest monthly output in January, reaching 965,419 tonnes, according to local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) data monitored by Kallanish.
This volume was the second-highest produced in Mexico after the 1.03 million tonnes produced in March 2017. It was also up 8.5% on the 889,595t of iron ore produced in January 2017.
