Mexican steelmaking raw materials production decreases in April
Mexican steelmaking raw materials' output fell year-on-year in April and year-to-date, according to data from local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) monitored by Kallanish.
Mexico produced 585,707 tonnes of iron ore during April, down by -37.2% y-o-y and -14.7% lower compared to March. Cumulative output reached 2,804,528t, or 883,922t less than in January-April 2019.
