Mexican steelmaking raw materials output rises in November
Mexico saw iron ore output rise month-on-month in November 2021, as did pellet and first-grade coke output, according to local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) data monitored by Kallanish.
Mexico produced 895,751 tonnes of iron ore during the month, up by 10.5% over October and 37.1% more year-on-year. 11-month output reached 8.53 million tonnes, down 1.6% over the same period in 2020.
