Mexico’s March steelmaking raw materials output increases
Mexico saw iron ore output rise month-on-month in March, as did pellet and first-grade coke output, according to local statistics institute Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi) data monitored by Kallanish.
Mexico produced 828,418 tonnes of iron ore during March, up by 1.1% on-month but 3.7% lower y-o-y. January-March output reached 2.47 million tonnes, down by 409,611t on January-March 2020.
