Mexican automotive sector remains depressed in June
Mexican automotive output fell both in the first half of 2020 and in June alone, reflecting the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak and quarantine period, Kallanish notes.
According to the Asociación Mexicana de la Indústria Automotriz (Amia), the sector produced 238,946 vehicles in June, down -29.2% year-on-year.
