Mexican automotive industry recovers in August
Mexican automotive output and exports rose month-on-month in August, Kallanish notes. Domestic sales however decreased compared to July, according to automotive association Asociación Mexicana de la Indústria Automotriz (Amia).
Automotive production continued to be affected by the lack of semiconductors on a global scale, a situation that is expected to reduce the annual performance of the industry.
