Ahmsa grows net sales, narrows net loss
Altos Hornos de México (Ahmsa) produced a ‘some good, some bad’ performance in the first quarter of 2017. The Mexican steelmaker achieved year-on-year increases in terms of net sales and Ebitda whilst seeing its sales volume of steel products fall. It also reported a net loss again for the quarter, but this was much reduced from that posted in the same period of 2016.
