Metinvest’s Ilyich signs up to double slab capacity
Metinvest’s Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol has signed with Primetals an agreement to source a new continuous slab caster. This will raise slab capacity at Ilyich to 4 million tonnes/year, Kallanish learns from the UK-based plant supplier.
