Metinvest increases pellet production, focuses on higher grades
Metinvest increased production of iron ore pellet in January-September by 48% on-year to 3.99 million tonnes, Kallanish notes. In the third quarter alone, output amounted to 1.43mt, up 7% compared to the previous quarter.
The entire volume of January-September production was made up of pellet containing more than Fe 65%, the enterprise claims.
