Metinvest hits new coal production milestone amid hostilities
Metinvest's Pokrovskugol coal mine has produced 2 million tonnes of coal since the beginning of 2024, Kallanish notes.
According to the company, despite the tense military situation in Ukraine’s Donetsk region, all four of its coal mining sites are working stably, the enterprise claims. “Our miners know that the economic stability of the country depends on their work,” the firm notes.
