Metinvest halts Zaporizhzhia-based production
Metinvest has suspended production at its enterprises in the Zaporizhzhia region due to the unfolding Russian invasion of Ukraine, the company tells Kallanish.
Zaporizhkoks and Zaporizhstal are temporarily switching to hot conservation mode. At the same time, there will be no staff reductions, with certain workers identified to ensure the conservation regime. All other employees are put on idle status but on full salary.
