Metalloinvest first-quarter yields rise on costlier iron ore
Metalloinvest improved performance in the first quarter on the back of growth in high-value-added product sales, rising prices for iron ore and metallics, and operational improvement yields, the company says.
The Russian iron ore miner and metallics and steel producer grew revenue 2.4% year-on-year to $1.9 billion, with Ebitda rising by 8.1% to $730 million and profitability rising 2.1 percentage points to 39.3%, Kallanish notes.
