Metalloinvest ramps up production with furnace upgrade
Russian steelmaker Metalloinvest has launched blast furnace No.2 after a major upgrade at its Ural Steel works, the company says.
Investment in the project amounted to RUB 2.5 billion ($33 million), Kallanish notes. The main process equipment supplier is Danieli.
