Metalloinvest ramps up pellet production with upgrades
Russian steelmaker Metalloinvest is increasing production of iron ore pellet with overhauls of three roasting machines at the Mikhailovsky GOK pelletising plant, the company says.
This will allow the plant to ramp up production volume by 2.3 times, up to 5.6 million tonnes/year, Kallanish notes. Total investment is RUB 533 million ($7m).
