Metalloinvest ramps up pellet production with upgrade
Russian iron ore miner and steel producer Metalloinvest has completed the modernisation of roasting machine no.4 at its Lededinsky (LGOK) iron ore mining plant.
The design capacity of the machine has been increased by almost 10% to 2.5 million tonnes/year, Kallanish notes. Investments in the project amounted to about RUB 2 billion ($28.6 million).
