Metalloinvest completes pellet capacity increase
Russian iron ore and steel producer Metalloinvest has completed the reconstruction of the kiln complex at its OEMK pelletising and metallisation plant.
As a result, the complex’s design capacity has increased by more than 10% on-year to 4.5 million tonnes of oxidised pellet, Kallanish notes. Total investment in the project amounted to RUB 1.9 billion ($30 million).
