Metalloinvest ramps up pellet output with overhauls
Russian iron ore and steel producer Metalloinvest is reconstructing the roasting machine at the pelletising plant of its Oskol Electrometallurgical Plant (OEMK), the company says.
As a result of the reconstruction, replacement of existing equipment and construction of the sixth pelletising line, the design capacity of the complex will increase by 10% to 4.5 million tonnes/year of oxidised pellet, Kallanish notes.
