Metalloinvest’s MGOK begins DR-grade pellet production
Metalloinvest has started production of premium quality (DR-grade) iron ore pellet at its Mikhailovsky iron ore mining and beneficiation plant (MGOK), the company says.
The firm aims in future to start hot-briquetted iron and direct reduced iron production at the plant. Trial lots of new pellet were delivered to Lebedinsky GOK and the Oskol Electrometallurgical Plant (OEMK). They successfully passed industrial tests for the production of HBI and DRI.
