Metalloinvest maintains steel output, reduces iron ore: reports
Metalloinvest maintained steel output but reduced iron ore and pellet production in the first half of 2023, according to local media reports.
The Russian firm’s steel production was 1.7 million tonnes in H1, largely unchanged from a year ago. However, iron ore production saw a 4% decrease to 19.1mt, primarily due to increased repair and maintenance times for mining transport equipment.
