Metalloinvest launches Ural Steel BFs upgrade
Russian vertically-integrated steel and metallics producer Metalloinvest has initiated a revamp of its No.2 and No.3 blast furnaces at Ural Steel works, the company says in a note sent to Kallanish.
The RUB 7 billion ($106 million) project, which the company envisages to complete in 2020, will ensure maximum functioning efficiency and longevity of service. Danieli Corus will supply all major equipment.
