Metalloinvest ramps up concentrate output after upgrade
Russian steelmaker Metalloinvest has completed the replacement of magnetic separators at the beneficiation shop of the MGOK concentration plant, the company says. This will increase production of iron ore concentrate by 10,200 tonnes/year, Kallanish notes.
In the space of six months, 23 separators were replaced at the concentrator. The new equipment is of domestic production and designed for wet magnetic separation.
