Metalloinvest heat treatment facility to treble plate output
Metalloinvest has launched a new heat treatment facility at Ural Steel that will help treble the production of heavy plate and increase production of steel for bridge construction by 39% by 2028.
The Roller Hearth Heat Treatment Furnace no.1 and Rolling Quenching Machine no.1 were supplied by Tenova LOI Thermprocess, with the project costing RUB 1.2 billion ($19.3 million).
