MENA output declines in February, grows against 2021
Fewer working days in February dragged the combined crude steel output of Middle Eastern countries down 9.7% on-month to 3.51 million tonnes, according to the latest worldsteel data. Each country saw an individual decline in production of some 10% on-month; however, combined output grew 2.8% versus 2021, Kallanish notes.
