Mediterranean scrap stable, pig iron weakens: Assofermet
Scrap prices in the Mediterranean were basically stable month-on-month for the first 20 days of September and slightly increased towards the end of the month, Italian steel trade association Assofermet confirms to Kallanish.
Meanwhile, the domestic scrap market remained mostly unchanged apart from a slight decrease at the beginning of the month.
