EU certifies Mechel to supply beams
Mechel’s Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant has had its beam production certified according to European quality standards, and can now deliver beams to EU countries.
The plant's products have been tested by an independent laboratory in Germany, TÜV Rheinland, Kallanish learns from the steelmaker. Experts also conducted audits of production at the plant.
