MCC22 wins Eastern Steel coke project
The official website of China Metallurgical Group Corporation reported on 22 July that MCC22 has won the bid for a coke oven project of Malaysia's Eastern Steel. The steelmaker plans an 800,000 tonnes/year clean-type heat-recovery coke oven, Kallanish notes.
MCC22 will be responsible for the first 400,000 tonnes/year phase of the project. The project is located in Ganma, Terengganu, on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
