Nissan's global vehicle output increases on-year in March
Nissan Motors’ global output in March increased year-on-year by 6% to 475,001 units, a source close to the Renault-Nissan joint venture confirms to Kallanish.
The carmaker’s Chinese output grew by 12.3% y-o-y to 112,178 units. Mexico however registered a -1.3% on-year decrease to 69,130 units, the company says in a note.
Japanese production fell by almost -5% y-o-y to 73,235 units, while production in the US was up y-o-y by 10.3% to 99,249 units.
