Major Chinese long steelmakers lift offers as expected
Major Chinese producers of construction longs have released their offers for late August (21-31). Chinese steel prices in recent days have seen a sharp upwards trend mainly due to the new restrictions in Tangshan, which have boosted futures prices as well as spot billet prices, Kallanish notes.
