Major Chinese steelmakers plan to raise 2016 production
Although total Chinese crude steel output is expected to fall in 2016, several Chinese steelmakers plan to increase crude steel production rather than reduce it. An overall increase in production would mean more a competitive market as demand continues to decline, Kallanish notes.
