Magnetite pellet use reduces CO2 emissions says LKAB
Swedish iron ore miner LKAB tells Kallanish that independent analysis shows that steel made with its magnetite pellets produce less greenhouse gas emissions than average European primary steel. The company was quoting from the results of an investigation by analysts Ecofys.
