Lower steel prices impact Siderperu's first-quarter revenue
Peruvian long steelmaker Empresa Siderúrgica del Perú (Siderperu), a subsidiary of Brazil's Gerdau, reports first-quarter revenue that was little-changed compared with Q4 2023 but below the same period last year.
The year-on-year reduction was mainly due to lower sales and realised steel prices, the steelmaker says in its latest operating report seen by Kallanish.
