Lower Israel, Spain intake slashes Turkish rod exports

Turkish wire rod exports decreased -6% on-year in June to 70,937 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. Exports of round rod below 14mm diameter comprised 36,131 tonnes. Romania was the main market, almost quadrupling intake to 4,029t, although Spain took in zero versus over 4,000t last year.
