Lower demand, increased supply reduce Qatar Steel revenue
Reduced steel demand coupled with increased supply put downward pressure on Qatar Steel (Qasco)’s prices in 2016. This contributed to an -11% on-year decline in 2016 revenue to QAR 4.7 billion ($1.29 billion).
