Ferrexpo mulls output increase on looming pellet shortage

Ukraine-based Swiss headquartered iron ore pellet producer Ferrexpo increased its capital expenditure in 2018 by 31% on-year to $135 million, including on its Concentrate Expansion Programme 1 (CEP1). This will enable an approximately 13% output increase to 12 million tonnes in 2021, the company says in a note seen by Kallanish.
