Longs markets face 'satisfactory' Q1 as margins improve
More intra-regional steel trade due to protectionism, and reduced steel exports from China due to increased Chinese demand are helping global long steelmakers hike prices and recover margins. This is according to the International Rebar Exporters and Producers Association (Irepas) who also says that the outlook for the first quarter of 2017 is “… satisfactory.”
