LKAB suffers as impairment losses and low prices hit profitability
Swedish iron ore producer LKAB has had its quarterly profits wiped by large impairment losses, the company confirms in a statement sent to Kallanish. Looking ahead, the miner also sees lower price levels for iron ore “… to remain,” it says somewhat starkly.
