LKAB sees pellet premiums plummet, redirects European deliveries
LKAB says there is a risk future production could be limited after Gällivare Municipality rejected its application to fence off an area in eastern Malmberget, thereby delaying the phase-out area schedule. The Swedish miner saw second-quarter iron ore deliveries more or less flat on-year at 6.6 million tonnes, of which 83% was pellet.
