LKAB sales rise as urban transformation hits profit
Swedish iron ore producer LKAB has posted a healthier set of financial results year-on-year for the second quarter of 2018, Kallanish notes. The company reports slightly lower production and delivery volumes for the period but operating profit weakened in an on-year comparison because of increased urban transformation costs, the miner says.
