LKAB sales rise but urban transformation hits profit
Swedish iron ore producer LKAB has had what it calls a “… stable” beginning to its fiscal 2018. Sales, underlying profit and cash flow all improved year-on-year in the first quarter of 2018 as did the miner’s iron ore production. Increased urban transformation costs however affected the bottom line and profit for the period fell slightly compared to Q1 2017, Kallanish notes.
