LKAB lowers first-quarter output but lifts sales, profits
Swedish iron ore producer LKAB says that market conditions remained favourable for the company in the first quarter of 2019. Sales, underlying profit and cash flow all improved year-on-year although production and deliveries of iron ore products both fell. Urban transformation costs due to the Kiruna move were also lower than in Q1 2018, Kallanish notes.
