Liugang to shut down one blast furnace
China’s Liuzhou Iron & Steel (Liugang) says one of its 1,500m³ blast furnaces will be eliminated completely rather than used as a source of capacity quota for the new Fangchenggang base.
Kallanish learns that this will reduce Liugang’s iron output at the Liuzhou base by 6%.
