Liugang to head due south to Fangchenggang city
Southwestern China’s Liuzhou Iron & Steel (Liugang) announced through its Shanghai-listed arm late on 30 November that it plans to relocate its whole facility further south to Fangchenggang city. Liugang says that the move is to optimise the plant location to a coastal city. The new site will constructed based on the steelmaker's reduced capacity replacement requirement, Kallanish notes.
