Line pipe rises for fourth month: Pipe Logix
US line pipe pricing appears to have surged in January after a long moribund period, Kallanish learns from market analyst Pipe Logix.
Average prices for all line pipe varieties climbed 8.5% on-month to $1,571/short ton - the fourth such monthly increase in a row for a cumulative gain of 17%, Pipe Logix notes.
Domestic line pipe prices increased by 8.6% to $1,779/st, while import prices increased by 8.4% to $1,363/st.
