August US line pipe prices remain stable
Line pipe prices stayed relatively static in August in the US, according to analytics company Pipe Logix.
The average price for both domestic and imported line pipe changed by only $1/short ton, Kallanish notes.
Average domestic line pipe at the distributor level is currently selling for $1,401/st and average import line pipe is selling for $908/st – up $1/st and down $1/st, respectively.
