Line pipe prices gain in November: Pipe Logix
US line pipe prices ticked up in November, largely due to rising skelp costs, Kallanish learns from analyst Pipe Logix.
Average US line pipe prices increased by 1.7% to $1,376/short ton. Domestic prices rose 2% to $1,549/st, while import prices rose 1.3% to $1,203/st.
Welded products displayed the highest gain by product type, with domestic welded products rising 3.5% and import welded products rising 2.8%.
