Line pipe prices continue to rise: Pipe Logix
Both US domestic and import prices for line pipe increased in November, according to analysis firm Pipe Logix.
Pricing averaged $2,943/short ton across all product categories, which was a 3.7% month-on-month rise. Domestic pricing was up 4.5% to $3,332/st and import pricing rose 2.5% to $2,555/st.
Pipe Logix notes that seamless pricing was up noticeably while ERW prices weakened.
